EXT. ROAD — DAY — CLOSE, THREE QUARTER

Head down, eyes on the ground a few feet ahead, mouth open. He believes he has ten kilometres left.

The exhaustion has to be honest before the recovery can mean anything. He is not being brave here, he is finished.

KEY FRAME 1 of 3. He is finished, and he believes he still has ten kilometres to run, which is why the exhaustion is total. Head down, eyes on the ground, mouth open. THE CAMERA DOES NOT MOVE across these three: same head size, same position, same three quarter angle throughout. The emotion changes inside the shot without a cut, so this is the start of one continuous move, not three separate shots. FILED AS 1-4, 3.9.2026, in the reset that gave scene one its final names. Before the reset it was 1-1-v11, and every name mentioned in this note is a pre reset name. HOW IT MOVES. CHEST, THEN HEAD. It starts like 1-3, only the chest. Then the head begins to move and the face changes in full animation. 1-4 TO 1-6 ARE ONE GROUP and the style changes inside them: full animation, a few moments frozen with only the chest, then full animation again. It is a mix of both, and it is there to prepare the audience for the full animation coming, so the change is announced rather than sprung.
