IT OPENS BY ITSELF AND HE DOES NOT TOUCH IT, and he is standing in it. The panels slide apart and what is behind is pure white with no detail in it, so bright that it BLOOMS: the light spills past the opening, washes over the inner edges of the panels and eats the hard edges of the arch away. He is a dark shape against it. THIS IS A COMPOSED SHOT: the boy is keyed in from the live action, so the empty door is kept beside it as the plate. He is composited from the 480 wide proxy here, which is enough to show the intent; the real composite is made in post from the ProRes.
