The collapse. Caught mid fall, leaning back, one arm hanging, both legs sliding out from under him, head tipped up and mouth open. He is empty, and everybody watching knows what empty looks like. This is the frame the whole film has to earn, because what happens thirty seconds later contradicts it. FILED AS 1-11, 3.9.2026, in the reset that gave scene one its final names.
