THE FILMRADIO DRAMAARCHIVEV9 DRAFTv220

Scene 6  The trance

Storyboard

The whole scene in order, 2 frames across 5 shots, read left to right like a silent film. This is the scene. Everything below it is the breakdown: the sheets, the frame and the shots opened one at a time. Click any frame to open the shot it belongs to.

Breakdowns are made on request. A frame is delivered flat unless you ask for it to be split into background and foreground, because most frames do not need it and splitting one takes real time. Tick the ones you want and press the button at the bottom. Marko gets an email and does them.

Character sheets

Coach Brain's consolev1superseded

Superseded 31.8.2026. Shows the riveted iron console. The desk is now grown stone, see 11-0-A-v3, and this sheet would send an animator the wrong way.

Coach Brain's chairv1superseded

Superseded 31.8.2026. Shows the wooden panelled chair. The chair is now a smooth shell on a single stem.

The control room wallv2reference

Four studies of the clay wall: flat, an outside corner, the top edge where it meets the plain ceiling and the grooves stop, and the grooves drawn large. THE CORNER AND THE CEILING PANELS ARE THE POINT. Without them anyone drawing a new angle has to guess whether the grooves wrap or stop, and guessing that is exactly how the first control room came back as a cave. Smoothed grey clay, no straight edges, grooves barely raised with long calm stretches between them.

The control room wall, first attemptv1superseded

Rejected. It redrew the whole room with four panels laid over it: floor, chair, door and desk base all still there. The room was the only reference, so the room is what came back. A study sheet needs a study sheet as its first reference.

Coach Brainv2superseded

Superseded by v4. Carried a generic modern key, not the real object on the live set.

Shots

5 shots. One picture stands for each shot. Click it to open the shot and see every key frame in it, and to ask for a breakdown or a change.
